Description travelers for a while have had 5 levels of experience reward (from minor to great), with a formula that determined the reward based not on your level per se, but on the amount of experience you need to gain your next level (and then divided by a certain number, and then put on a certain amount of diminishing returns). now this is standardized in the central experience daemon and can be referenced by other things (such as quests, other affiliations, etc) and tweaked as need be.
Reason tired of seeing 100 * query_level() as an xp reward for a quest or something, like level is supposed to scale somehow to an appropriate xp reward
Result hopefully more reasonable non-grind xp rewards
Version predates automated version tracking
