| Description | if one is a familiar one cannot be a consort -- one cannot gain access to the empathic bonds faculty or join and guilds that give it or, in the case of fey bonds and travelers, use those abilities that would give it. conversely, if one is a consort one cannot be bonded as a familiar. |
