Description | the original change -- which somehow distinguishes from a command as typed in by someone as opposed to a command that is executed automatically as part of the attack cycle -- was always highly dubious in terms of its mechanical justification. but its just so fucking frustrating and unfun to play with that it has to be reverted, IMO. nothing is worse than staring at the screen trying to resist the urge to type something reasonable because you don't want your trance to break. and nothing is worse than doing something extremely routine and having it break your trance, while the zillions of things that you do "reflexively" have no effect. combat meditation is still a process and will still break when you do numerous other things, such as start other processes, take damage, etc etc. it does not need a non-reflexive activity interrupt. |
