Description | Changed a lot of the spells for OIA over the past month, ranging from cosmetic changes to make similar spells feel different, to adjusting the way the spells handle multiple targets, to altering the way buff spells apply their buffs, and shortening casting times. Also recalulated the requirements for several spells that are somewhat necessary for the survival of newbies. Also updated the followers to be more of a help in combat, and made the dancing flame keepable. |
Reason | Noticed bad trends from my log files, and needed to make a few changes to get ready for further growth of the guild, namely internal guild standing. Ended up altering something in about 1/3 of the spells currently available for the guild. |
Result | Several spells that were previously useless due to long casting times or small damage output have been changed to be viable. Newbies have a better chance of survival. The standardized xp return from Burnt Offerings makes getting over the level 18-22 hump more tolerable. Guild more tolerant of newbies and more playable at various levels of advancement. |
