Description | Replaced the old system of specifically defined damage combos (force + fire = explosive fire, that sort of thing) with one where damage combo identities are procedurally assembled from a pool of base components, so that potentially any damage combo can be described. (In practical terms, combos of more than six types involve severe enough combinatoric explosion to potentially break the MUD, so we won't be doing those until and unless better combination algorithms can be devised.) This essentially means that where we previously had a couple hundred damage combos, we now have 4,606, many of which come as surprises even to me. So there are many more things for your breath attacks to be, etc. |
Reason | My plans require robust support for describing, passably well, a broad variety of arbitrary damage combos. |
Result | Many more damage combos in existence. |
Version | lib minor version incremented to Ain Soph 2.9.0 |
