Description | The movement mechanics have been modified to be more efficient, with all movement now running through the 'go' command -- directions and their abbreviations are now aliases for 'go' commands. That command has also been extended to allow commands like 'go n, n, e' and 'go 18e, 18n, u' in addition to single movement commands; if you're going to move long distances, you should definitely use these types of commands because they're more efficient at the processing level in addition to the level of your typing. Any aliases you have that consist of sequences of movement commands will be automatically converted to the appropriate 'go' commands. |
Reason | Efficiency, usability. |
Result | Movement is more efficient, works on different principles. There will doubtless be some odd movement-related bugs as a result of the core technical changes involved. |
Version | lib revision incremented to Ain Soph 2.2.629 |
