Description | Reworked the way the colors of physical elements get influence. Features include 1) making it so that color influence in general concerns itself with visible elements first, so that the behavior of living beings is somewhat less confounded by color influence getting soaked up by their internal organs, 2) making it so that color influence always has to overcome a threshold determined by the influenced element's mass in order to change its color at all (so skin and scales, for example, should now be *very* resistant to being recolored), 3) chromatostasis works by, rather than creating a "stabilizing" influence that has to compete with other color influences, just applies a general dampening factor to all color influence, which should have an easy time knocking it below the threshold involved in item 2 in most cases. |
Reason | |
Result | The way color influence from affinities and such work should be more sensible and intuitive, as well as less overbearing. |
