| Description | extracting energy from the gem will give a slight bonus of energy based off casting performance (as a easy spell its a pretty static amount). |
| Reason | since the gems are dested after extraction, there should be some offset instead of casting for one and then instantly losing energy as a result. |
| Result | more meaning from the energy storage spells, can have gems for a short time without loss of energy stored. |
