Description | Rewrote the Knight turn undead power. Now the way it works is that it does some damage to any undead, and undead that can feel fear may be forced to flee; mindless undead take extra damage. Either way, subsequent applications to a given target are greatly reduced in effectiveness; this expires after quite a long time. |
Reason | Trying to make it better. And I decided to finally bite the bullet and rework all this awful, unreadable lambda-closure-based code that it was based on, which was kind of the main obstacle to maintaining it for the past 10 years. |
Result | Turn undead is less of a face-stompy blow-up-undead power, except probably for powerful invokers vs. mindless undead, and also less of a thing appropriate to repeat over and over, and is more of a one-time protective measure. |
